Crestron Ultimate IC3-AW 3 in. All Weather In-Ceiling Speaker System

The Ultimate IC3-AW splits a two-way in-ceiling speaker into two pieces so that the only thing visible in the ceiling is a 2 in. tweeter aperture the size of a designer downlight. The 6 in. carbon fibre woofer lives above the ceiling in a cast aluminium back box with overlapping steel mounting straps adjustable from 14.25 in. to 24 in., crossing over passively at 200 Hz into the tweeter, a 2 in. ceramic-coated aluminium cone on a neodymium motor. Together they cover 44 Hz to 20 kHz at 8 ohms nominal with 100 degree conical dispersion and handle 75 W RMS.

Buy it three ways. The kit is everything needed for one complete speaker. The box-and-woofer part ships during new construction, before the ceiling closes, and the tweeter module goes in afterwards, which is how the trade normally sequences it. Both trim ring styles come in square and round, in flush, invisible, and flanged profiles, and the assembly is IP66 rated for particles and water.
