Crestron CI-SOMFY-RTS RS485 Somfy RTS Interface

Somfy RTS motors are already on site in a great many buildings, and they speak their own radio protocol rather than anything a control processor understands. The CI-SOMFY-RTS is the transmitter that bridges the two: an RS485 motor controller that lets a Crestron control system operate Somfy RTS shades, blinds and drapery as part of the same scenes as the lighting and AV.

It addresses up to 16 groups of Somfy RTS motors and receivers, which is what allows a facade to be driven as zones rather than one at a time. It wires to a serial port on the processor, so no gateway or bridge sits between the system and the shades. Crestron material number 6508834.
