Crestron CLX-4HSW4 4-Channel High-Inrush Switch Module, 4 Feeds, 120V
Non-dimmable loads are hard on relays, and the CLX-4HSW4 is the CLX module built for them. Each of its four channels has its own 120 Volt feed and switches 16 Amps or half a horsepower, taking the inrush of LED drivers, fluorescent and HID ballasts, low-voltage transformers, neon and cold cathode, and motors. Four separate feeds give a 64 Amp module total and let one module serve four unrelated circuits.
CLX modules mount in a Crestron CAEN or CAEN-MLO wall enclosure and bus their low-voltage control between one another on a five-wire link, terminating at a CAEN-BLOCK at the bottom of the cabinet, which is what keeps a large centralized system to one Cresnet drop. High-voltage wiring lands on a separate CLT terminal block, sold separately, so the electrician can terminate the feeders before the module is ever fitted.
