Crestron CM2-SWEX Cameo 2 In-Wall Switch

Where a room needs on and off rather than a level, the CM2-SWEX is the Cameo 2 answer. It switches 1200 W/VA of incandescent, tungsten halogen, magnetic ballast, electronic ballast or CFL load at 100-240VAC, 400 W of self-ballasted LED at 240VAC, and a 1/2 HP motor, and it reports and takes commands over infiNET EX 2-way RF on the 2.4 GHz mesh. That motor rating is what makes it the usual pick for exhaust fans and small pumps that a dimmer should not touch.

It shares the Cameo 2 body and faceplate system, so a switch, a dimmer and a keypad line up in the same multigang box. The full keypad version gives six RGB backlit text regions and six indicator regions over up to six programmable buttons; the RKR version replaces them with one large rocker. ENGRAVED variants take custom engraving on any mix of small, medium and large caps. Unlike the dimmers, the neutral connection is required. Terminals are 14-12 AWG screw type for hot, remote, load, neutral and ground. A Cameo 2 faceplate and a Crestron wireless gateway are sold separately.
