Cablecast VIO 2 OMNI All-in-One Video Server

VIO 2 OMNI is a channel-in-a-box: one on-premise server that schedules and automates a 24/7 cable broadcast and carries the same content to the web, mobile and OTT. The library stays on your own hardware, which means no third-party hosting terms and no question about who owns the content.

The whole channel runs from a mobile-friendly web interface - scheduling, VOD and OTT publishing, graphic announcements, schedule promotion, native reporting and viewer metrics - with Cablecast CG built in for announcements, crawls, a channel bug and bug text, and meeting indexing so viewers can jump to a chapter and open attached documents. It generates an H.264 HLS adaptive-bitrate stream for the web, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and iOS and Android, and its built-in encoder ingests NDI, RTP, RTMP, RTSP and HLS plus an SDI input, while outputting SD and HD-SDI for cable. Storage is 10 TB of RAID5, factory-upgradeable to 40 TB.
