Cablecast Translate Caption Translation Service Single Hour

Cablecast Translate takes the captions a station is already producing and turns them into other languages automatically, from the cloud, with no extra hardware. Live cable programming translates in real time into English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German and Dutch, and on-demand video for web, mobile and OTT apps translates into 72 languages. It runs inside the same Cablecast web interface used to schedule and play out the channel, on VIO and Flex servers at software 7.7 or later.

Captions do not have to originate in Cablecast. Sidecar caption files produced by another solution can be translated through the Cablecast Text Tracks interface, so a station that already pays for captioning elsewhere can still add language coverage. This SKU is the single pay-as-you-go hour rather than a prepaid block, which fits a station translating a few meetings a month or testing demand before committing to the 500 or 1,000 hour tiers.
