Cablecast VIO 4 Four Channel Video Server

VIO 4 is the four-channel member of the VIO line, running Cablecast automation across four SDI ports that are configurable as inputs or outputs, with up to two encode channels for live capture. A facility running several channels off one rack gets them from one box rather than four.

Scheduling drives everything else: playback, video-on-demand and OTT publishing, graphic announcements and schedule promotion, with reporting on playout and viewer metrics. It plays a wide range of digital formats and codecs with SD-to-HD up-conversion and HD-to-SD down-conversion built in, needs no transcoding, and natively decodes, plays and records RTP, RTMP and HLS streams. Channel branding and meeting indexing are included. Storage is 10 TB of RAID5, factory-upgradeable to 40 TB, on redundant power.
