VOD Lite is the entry Cablecast on-demand server: a 2RU chassis with 8 TB of storage that publishes the archive as multi-bitrate H.264 HLS scaling up to 1080p. There is no RAID and no redundant supply at this tier, which is the trade for the smaller footprint and the lower price.

Cablecast's VOD servers push finished content to turnkey web portals you can customize per channel, with embedded PDFs, chapters and as much custom metadata as the archive needs. Add Cablecast REFLECT CDN and the same on-demand library reaches the supported OTT platforms without pushing adaptive bitrate delivery through the station's own network.
