Cablecast VIO Lite CG Server Bulletin Board Server Stand-Alone Two Channel Bulletin Board Server

The VIO Lite CG Server runs Cablecast CG on its own hardware: two channels of bulletin board graphics out of a 2RU chassis with 8 TB of internal storage, for a community channel whose air time between programs is announcements rather than video. It is a stand-alone box, so it does not consume a channel on the main playout server.

The chassis is the same 2RU platform as the VIO Lite, and Cablecast upgrades it in place to a VIO Lite or a VIO Lite OMNI when the channel outgrows graphics-only playout. Decoding covers MPEG-2, H.264, AVI and DV, output is two SDI on BNC, and genlock accepts tri-level sync or black burst so the graphics lock to the plant like any other source.
