Blackmagic Video Assist 5" 12G HDR Recorder

The Video Assist 5 inch 12G HDR adds professional monitoring and recording to any SDI or HDMI camera across HD, Ultra HD, 2K, and 4K DCI formats. The 5 inch 1920 x 1080 touchscreen runs at 2500 nits with a P3 wide color gamut, so it stays readable in daylight, and it supports 3D LUTs, HDR display, and the full set of scopes, focus assist, and exposure tools a camera operator relies on to nail focus and exposure.

Recording is to a single UHS-II SD card in 10-bit 4:2:2 Apple ProRes or Avid DNx, or Blackmagic RAW from supported cameras, with USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 for recording to an external drive. Micro BNC SDI and HDMI 2.0a connections both loop through, audio is embedded with a 3.5mm headphone output, and it powers from an included 12V supply or two Sony NP-F style L-Series batteries for continuous field use.
