Blackmagic Video Assist 5" 3G

The Video Assist 5 inch 3G is a portable monitor, recorder, scope, and camera viewfinder in one unit, adding better record codecs and a larger screen to any SDI or HDMI camera. The 5 inch 1920 x 1080 touchscreen carries four built-in scopes, enhanced focus assist, a tally indicator, and built-in 3D LUTs, and it supports formats up to 1080p60 for HD production.

Recording is to a single UHS-I SD card in Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHD, with a USB-C port for webcam output, setup, and software updates. Micro BNC SDI and HDMI both loop through, audio is embedded with a 3.5mm headphone output, and the redesigned body takes two Sony NP-F style L-Series batteries for longer runtime alongside its 12V supply.
