Blackmagic ATEM SDI Extreme ISO

The ATEM SDI Extreme ISO is an 8-input SDI live production switcher with full ISO recording. Eight SDI inputs each include standards conversion and frame resync, so cameras in different HD formats up to 1080p60 lock together, and four SDI outputs plus a 1080 HD webcam output feed monitors, projectors, and computers. Front panel control covers transitions, DVE, green screen chroma key, and a 20-still media pool for titles, so an operator can cut a polished show without a computer.

The standout is ISO recording: the switcher captures nine separate H.264 streams in real time, the eight clean feed inputs plus the program, and saves a DaVinci Resolve project file so the show can be re-cut and finished in post. ISO inputs record as H.264 .mp4 at up to 70 Mb/s with AAC audio, and audio is captured as separate 24-bit 48kHz .wav files.
