Violectric HPA V202 Headphone Amplifier
The HPA V202 is the compact entry into the Violectric headphone line, a single-ended desktop amplifier in a milled aluminum case measuring 165 x 54 x 163 mm. Two 8-transistor output stages drive the headphone jack from an output impedance below 0.25 ohm, so damping stays high across the full range of dynamic and planar headphones.
Sources connect on gold-plated Neutrik XLR and RCA inputs, both at 10 kOhm and accepting up to +21 dBu. The rear-panel PRE-GAIN switch trims internal gain in 7 steps so the volume control lands in its usable range no matter how sensitive the headphones are, which is what keeps the noise floor inaudible. Power is internal, 230 V or 115 V AC, and the unit is built in Germany.
