Violectric DHA V226 Headphone Amplifier and DAC
The DHA V226 puts a digital-to-analog converter inside the compact Violectric chassis, so a laptop or streamer connects straight over USB-C at up to 32 bit and 384 kHz for PCM, with DSD 64 through DSD 256 supported. Analog sources still arrive on gold-plated Neutrik XLR and RCA inputs at 10 kOhm.
Four output stages drive balanced headphones with an output impedance under 0.5 ohm balanced and 0.25 ohm unbalanced, and dynamic range measures better than 131 dB A-weighted. The rear PRE-GAIN switch sets internal gain in 7 steps to suit the headphones in use. Level runs through an ALPS RK27 potentiometer behind a 38 mm aluminum knob. Internal 230 V or 115 V supply, built in Germany.
