The VLEX-HT2150A-TR extends HDMI up to 1080p@60Hz (YUV 4:4:4) across 492 feet (150 meters) of a single Cat5e/6 cable. Where 4K is not required, it buys the same reach at a lower cost and with the same control set.

Audio can be embedded on the transmitter side and de-embedded on the receiver, which lets a local sound system tap the program feed at either end. The extender also carries bidirectional IR, RS-232, and EDID management, and the transmitter includes an HDMI loop out for a local display.
