URC TRC-1080 Handheld Remote
The TRC-1080 sits between URC's TRC-820 and TRC-1120 handhelds, built around a 2 inch color LCD that the dealer can customize with menus, color schemes, and icons. Like the higher-end remotes in the line, its screen shows live video from compatible door stations and surveillance cameras, so a visitor at the front door can be seen without leaving the room. Multi-zone control covers entertainment and connected devices from one handheld, and a backlit keypad keeps it usable in a dark room.
Up to 120 favorite channels are stored with genre browsing, and a Shortcuts menu gives one-touch access to six activities per room. A pickup sensor wakes the display on motion to save battery, and the rechargeable Li-Polymer battery runs three to four days on a charge, topped off in the included tabletop cradle. Wi-Fi is Quick-Connect on 2.4 GHz only, with no IR or RF; the body measures 2.3 x 8.8 x 0.9 inches at 7.8 oz. Programming is done in Total Control Accelerator 3 by an authorized dealer.
