Tightrope Cablecast CBL-SVR800-VOD-Lite Automation and VOD Server

The CBL-SVR800-VOD-Lite is Cablecast's entry VOD and automation server, built into a 2RU chassis with whisper-quiet fans for a control room or shared rack. It runs the Cablecast automation and scheduling platform and streams H.264 HLS adaptive-bitrate video-on-demand, so a recorded show reaches mobile devices, desktop browsers, and OTT apps at a bitrate matched to each viewer's connection.

Storage is split between a 256 GB operating-system drive and an 8 TB content drive for the VOD library. It ships on Windows 11 IoT Enterprise with a three-year hardware warranty and system commissioning included; rack rails are not supplied. It is the light-duty counterpart to the full Cablecast Pro VOD server.
