Teradek Prism Mobile 5G Single 5G-Q HEVC/AVC Encoder

Prism Mobile 5G Single is the one-modem member of Teradek's bonded cellular encoder line. It carries a single internal Node 5G-Q modem with 4x4 MIMO and CBRS support, then bonds that modem together with an external Node modem, dual Gigabit Ethernet, and Wi-Fi hotspots - up to seven paths at once over the Teradek Bonding Protocol - so a field crew keeps a stream up even when one cellular network sags. Video comes in over 12G-SDI or HDMI 2.0 at up to 4K, encoded 10-bit HDR 4:2:2 in HEVC or AVC to hold picture quality on an uplink that has to fight for bandwidth.

It is the sensible choice when a job does not justify the twin-modem Dual 5G-Q unit: a single reporter package, a locked-off remote camera, a second body on a shoot where the A-camera already carries the dual. Up to eight tracks of audio ride with the picture, the stream records locally to a full-size SD card, USB drive, or an NFS share as a safety copy, and the same box works on a house SIM at home and a local SIM overseas thanks to dual switchable SIM slots. Battery configurations cover Gold Mount, 26V Gold Mount, V-Mount, and a bare no-mount body.
