Teradek Prism Mobile Backpack 5G

The Prism Mobile Backpack 5G is the complete body-worn version of Teradek's bonded cellular rig, sold ready to run rather than as an empty chassis. Where the Backpack 859 is the carrier alone, this configuration ships with the Prism Mobile encoder and a set of Node 5G modems already fitted, so a roving or ENG operator can pull it on and get a bonded stream out of a crowded venue without assembling the pieces separately. The built-in battery plate runs the whole rig off one pack, in either Gold Mount or V-Mount to match the rest of a crew's kit.

The two build points are the number of 5G modems: the 2x version carries two Node 5G modems, and the 4x version carries four, for crews that need more bonded headroom in the most congested cellular environments. Both share the same backpack chassis and Prism Mobile encoder; the difference is how many cellular paths the rig can bond at once, which is the practical limit on how reliably it holds a bitrate when the network is saturated.
