Shure MX412 C

The MX412/C is the cardioid, 12-inch model in Shure's Microflex Standard Gooseneck line, an electret condenser designed to put a talker's voice up close at a lectern, pulpit, courtroom bench, or conference table. The added gooseneck length and flexibility let you aim the capsule exactly where it needs to be, while the cardioid pattern favors the person speaking and turns down room reflections behind the mic.

A balanced, transformerless output with built-in RF filtering keeps the signal clean and quiet over long cable runs and resists interference from nearby phones and wireless devices. The microphone mounts through its integrated XLR preamp base with a shock-mount flange to isolate surface vibration, and a snap-fit foam windscreen ships in the box. Interchangeable cartridges let you swap to supercardioid or omnidirectional coverage as the room requires.
