Shure MX393 C

The MX393/C is a Microflex boundary microphone built for conference tables, lecterns, and stage floors where a discreet, flush profile matters. Its cardioid cartridge picks up the person in front and rejects sound arriving from behind, so PA bleed and room noise stay out of the pickup. The electret condenser element delivers flat, natural speech across the vocal range, and the cartridge swaps out for supercardioid or omnidirectional versions when a different pattern suits the room.

The microphone terminates in a 12 foot attached cable with an XLR output connector, so it plugs straight into a mixer or preamp and draws 11 to 52V phantom power over the same cable. A programmable membrane on/off switch with a status LED gives the talker touch control, and logic input and output pins let it integrate with an automatic mixer or control system.
