Sennheiser MKE2-3-ew Gold Lavalier Microphone

The Sennheiser MKE 2-ew Gold is a subminiature omnidirectional clip-on condenser built for Sennheiser evolution wireless bodypack systems. Its pre-polarized Gold capsule measures only a few millimeters across, so it disappears on a lapel, tie, or costume while holding a natural 20-20,000 Hz response. The welded housing and ultra-light Umbrella Diaphragm shed perspiration through long, hot shows without dulling the sound.

This variant terminates in a locking 3.5 mm connector for evolution wireless (ew G3, G4, D1), Speechline DW, and XSW bodypacks, and its reduced 5 mV/Pa sensitivity keeps those inputs from overloading. It is finished in beige to blend against skin tone and light clothing, and ships with slip-on caps, a cover-up, an MZW 2 windscreen, and a clip.
