Sennheiser MKE2-3-C TA5F Lavalier Microphone
The Sennheiser MKE 2 is a subminiature omnidirectional clip-on condenser that has anchored theater, broadcast, and house-of-worship rigs for years. Barely larger than a match head, it hides on a lapel, tie, or costume while capturing a full, natural voice, and because the capsule is omnidirectional the tone holds steady even as the talent turns their head. Its response runs the full 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, so speech and vocals sound open rather than boxed in.
Sennheiser's welded housing and lightweight Umbrella Diaphragm shrug off perspiration through long stage calls under hot lighting. This beige high-output version feeds a strong 31 mV/Pa signal into a TA5F connector wired for Lectrosonics bodypack transmitters, driving the input with headroom to spare. It ships as the bare capsule, letting you reuse the clip and windscreen your production already runs.
