Sennheiser MKE2-3-C Gold TA4FV Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone
The Sennheiser MKE 2-3-C Gold TA4FV is the reduced-sensitivity build of the MKE 2 Gold subminiature omnidirectional lavalier, fitted with a 4-pin TA4F connector for Vega bodypack transmitters. The lower 5 mV/Pa sensitivity lets the capsule sit close to loud sources without overloading the transmitter, and the umbrella diaphragm, a moisture-resistant dual-layer element, keeps performing through sweat and stage heat where ordinary lavs give out.
The omnidirectional pattern gathers even level from every direction, so the talent can move and turn without the voice dropping, and the capsule spans a full 20 to 20,000 Hz. This version ships in beige to hide against skin and clothing and comes as the bare microphone with no added accessories.
