Sennheiser MKE2-3-C 2-R Lavalier Microphone
The MKE 2-3-C 2-R is a hard-wired version of Sennheiser's professional subminiature omnidirectional lavalier, built to plug straight into third-party bodypacks rather than a Sennheiser ew connector. This one carries the high-output, 31 mV/Pa capsule and is terminated for Shure and Telex transmitters, so it drops into those wireless systems without an adapter. The omni pattern captures a natural voice from any angle, and the dual-diaphragm capsule shrugs off sweat and moisture through long broadcast and stage use.
The higher-sensitivity element delivers plenty of level into a transmitter input, which is useful for quieter talkers and dialogue work. This is the bare capsule in beige, supplied without additional accessories, so it is the right pick when you already have the caps, clips, and windscreens on hand.
