Sennheiser EW-D ME4 SET Evolution Digital Wireless Lavalier System

The EW-D ME4 SET is Sennheiser's Evolution Wireless Digital lavalier system built around the ME 4 cardioid clip-on. Where an omni lavalier hears the whole room, the ME 4's cardioid pattern favors the wearer and turns its back on side and rear sound, which tames feedback and stage bleed in loud rooms and houses of worship. The rig pairs an EW-D EM half-rack receiver with an EW-D SK bodypack, moving a full 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz over 24-bit digital audio at 1.9 ms latency.

One press of Sync auto-scans the 56 MHz switching bandwidth, locks the cleanest frequency, and transfers it to the transmitter, so there is no menu-diving to get on air. It is offered in the Q1-6 (470.2-526 MHz), R1-6 (520-576 MHz), and R4-9 (552-607.8 MHz) frequency ranges. The BA 70 lithium-ion pack runs up to 12 hours, or standard AA cells up to 8. The set includes the EW-D EM rack receiver, EW-D SK bodypack, ME 4 cardioid lavalier, two rod antennas, a power supply with adapters, and a rackmount kit.
