Sennheiser A 1031-U Passive Omni-Directional UHF Antenna

The A 1031-U is what you reach for when the receiver rack has to live in a closet and the antennas have to live where the performers are. It is passive and broadband, one element covering 450 to 960 MHz, so it serves evolution wireless, 2000-series and Digital 6000 racks without being swapped every time the band plan moves.

Passive means there is nothing to power and nothing to fail: 0 dB gain, one BNC connector, and a 150 g body light enough to hang off a mic stand or a truss clamp. On long coax runs put an AB 3700 booster at the antenna end to pay back the cable loss, and use a matched pair to feed the A and B inputs of a true-diversity receiver.
