Sennheiser ASA 3000-US Active Antenna Splitter
Above about four channels, every receiver in the rack wanting its own antenna pair stops being practical. The ASA 3000-US takes one A and one B antenna and splits each eight ways, so eight dual receivers, sixteen channels, all see the same front end. Wideband coverage runs 470 to 870 MHz, and IM 3000 selective RF input modules can be fitted when the site needs the input narrowed to a band.
Each input carries 12 V at up to 200 mA for a remote booster, so the antennas can sit out in the room on long coax without a separate power run. Everything is on BNC: inputs A and B, outputs A1 to A8 and B1 to B8, 50 ohms throughout. It runs on 100 to 240 V mains, so it travels internationally without a voltage conversation.
