Sennheiser EW-D 835-S Set Evolution Digital Wireless Handheld System

The EW-D 835-S SET is Sennheiser's digital wireless handheld system for singers and speakers who want the reliability of digital transmission without a steep learning curve. The handheld transmitter carries the MMD 835 cardioid dynamic capsule, the wireless version of the stage-proven e 835, and a mute switch on the body lets a performer cut the mic between numbers. Digital transmission gives a flat 20 Hz to 20 kHz response and a wide 134 dB dynamic range, so quiet passages and belted choruses both come through clean, and latency sits at just 1.9 ms.

Setup is as simple as pressing sync: the receiver's auto-scan finds a clear frequency and copies it to the handheld, and a 56 MHz tuning range with up to 2,240 frequencies keeps many systems clashing-free. It can also be managed from the Smart Assist app. The set pairs an EW-D EM single-channel receiver with the SKM-S handheld and MMD 835 capsule, plus a rack kit, mic clamp, power supply, and batteries. It is offered in the Q1-6, R1-6, and R4-9 tuning ranges.
