sE Electronics DynaCaster DCM6 Dynamic Broadcast Microphone

The DCM6 brings the DynaCaster idea down to a smaller body. A cardioid dynamic capsule with a copper voice coil and neodymium magnet is paired with a phantom-powered gain stage that raises sensitivity from 2.5 to 79 mV/Pa, so it works on interfaces that cannot deliver clean gain to a bare dynamic.

At 158 x 86 x 62 mm and 518 g it fits a desk arm without dominating the shot, and the 40 Hz to 18 kHz response is voiced for speech. A thread adapter is included; it runs on standard 48 V phantom over a 3-pin male XLR.
