Roland V-8HD HD Video Switcher

The V-8HD is a compact HD video switcher that takes in eight HDMI sources and cuts, mixes, or composites them live to a single program. Two of its inputs carry built-in scalers, so a laptop, tablet, phone, or game console can feed the switcher alongside cameras without an outboard converter. It is built for multi-camera worship, education, corporate, and event production where a full switcher is needed but rack space and budget are tight.

Alongside the video path sits an 18-channel digital audio mixer, so the show's sound is handled on the same panel as the picture. Three HDMI outputs feed a program display, a multi-view monitor, and an aux feed or recorder, and the unit accepts external battery power for field jobs away from wall power.
