Roland XS-42H Matrix Switcher
The XS-42H is a compact 4x2 multi-format HDMI matrix switcher that sends up to four sources to one or two output displays, with mix and cut transitions between them. Auto source detection and source scaling mean a mix of cameras, laptops, and media players can be plugged in and switched without manual format matching, and still images or a logo can be loaded from the USB port. It suits conference rooms, classrooms, and signage where a small, self-contained switch is all the room needs.
Setup and live control happen through a web browser, so the unit can be driven wirelessly from a tablet, laptop, or phone on the same network. An internal audio mixer follows the video, switching the HDMI-embedded audio to match the active source, and stereo RCA outputs feed external speakers or a soundbar while a second RCA pair brings in an auxiliary audio source.
