Roland XS-1HD Multi-format Matrix Switcher

The XS-1HD is a 4-in, 4-out HDMI matrix switcher that does more than route signals. In matrix mode it sends any of four sources to any of four displays; in switcher mode it becomes a live production tool with picture-in-picture, key compositing, and dissolve transitions; and in split mode it lays up to three inset windows over a background with individual position, size, and layering. Every input carries frame synchronization and scaling, so mismatched cameras and computers lock together cleanly.

It supports resolutions up to WUXGA and 1080p, covering both video and computer sources on the same panel. A built-in audio mixer blends the HDMI-embedded audio with an analog stereo input, feeding HDMI, RCA, and a 1/8-inch stereo output. Sixteen memories store layouts and settings for instant recall during an event or across a fixed install.
