The AG-CX370 is a high-end handheld camcorder built on a 1.0-type MOS sensor with about 15.03 million effective pixels, driving a 20x optical zoom from a 24.5mm (35mm equivalent) wide angle. i.Zoom stretches that to 24x in 4K and 32x in HD, and 4K/60p/10-bit recording runs through the HEVC/H.265 codec with variable frame rates and Hybrid Log Gamma HDR capture. Five-axis hybrid stabilization and face-detection auto-tracking keep a single operator on a moving subject through news and event coverage.

The SDI output steps up to 12G-SDI for uncompressed 4K, run alongside a simultaneous HDMI feed, and built-in NDI HX2 IP connectivity adds network production and camera control. Direct streaming covers RTMP, RTMPS, RTSP, and SRT. Two XLR inputs plus a 3.5mm jack record 4-channel 24-bit LPCM audio from up to four sources at once, and dual SDXC card slots support relay, simultaneous, and background recording.
