OConnor C2560-60LM-F This Package Pairs the Ultimate 2560 Fluid Head

This package pairs the Ultimate 2560 fluid head with the 60L Mitchell carbon fiber tripod and a ground spreader, and the combination is aimed at the crew that has to move. The 2560 is the Ultimate feel in a head sized for a built-out digital cinema camera rather than a studio dolly load: continuously adjustable sinusoidal counterbalance working alongside the fluid drag to hold true balance across the range, controls in the cine standard positions, a sideload platform, and a magnesium housing under a carbon fiber cover that keeps it to 16.2 lb. It balances 83 lb at a 4 in. center of gravity and 65 lb at 6 in., tilting a full plus or minus 90 degrees.

The 60L Mitchell legs are the light half of the equation. Two-stage carbon fiber, 9 lb bare, and yet rated to 209 lb (95 kg), they run from 22.8 in. up to 60.6 in. and fold to 30 in. for transport. The top casting is Mitchell, not a bowl, so the 2560 keys straight onto it with no leveling ball in the load path, and a level bubble in the casting lets you level the legs before the head ever goes on. Quick leg clamps lock visibly, and the ground spreader (C1258-0001) braces the feet on flat floors. The package comprises the 2560 fluid head package (C1260-0001), the 60L Mitchell tripod (C1255-0002), and that spreader.
