Miller 1630 2-Stage Alloy Tripod
The Miller Solo 75 2-Stage Alloy tripod (model 1630) is a self-standing 75mm bowl set of legs built for shooters who want to skip the spreader entirely. Its innovative leg angle control incorporates a safety lock at each leg, so you set three independent angles and the tripod stands rigid on its own, from a low 9.2 inches for ground-level work up to 64 inches at full extension. Aluminium tubing paired with high strength magnesium die-cast alloy fittings keeps the legs stiff while holding weight down.
The two-stage legs use rapid flip-locks to deploy quickly, and the tripod carries payloads up to 44 lb, matching Miller's Solo-class fluid heads. Retractable spiked feet bite into soft ground and wind down to rubber pads for hard floors, and the whole set folds to a compact 700mm transport length. Industry-standard 75mm ball levelling means it levels in seconds with a fluid head bubble.
