Miller 182 DS10 Fluid Head

The Miller DS10 (model 182) is a 75mm fluid head sized for compact camcorders and DSLR rigs from 5.5 to 11 lb. Four precision ball bearings work with a fluid drag plate system in both the pan and tilt assemblies to deliver true fluid movement, so pans start smoothly and settle without a hard stop. A two position counterbalance neutralises the effect of camera weight through the tilt, keeping the framing put when you let go.

Levelling is handled by the industry-standard 75mm claw ball, and a generous 60mm sliding camera plate makes it quick to find the balance point on a bare body or a fully rigged one. The head tilts +90 degrees to -75 degrees and pans a full 360 degrees, with a caliper disc brake serving as the pan and tilt lock to protect the payload. Adjustable pan and tilt drag dials tune the resistance from light to heavy for the shot at hand.
