Miller 1052 SkyX 8 150mm Fluid Head

The Miller SkyX 8 (model 1052) is a heavy-duty 150mm fluid head built for cinema and broadcast cameras carrying loads up to 88 lb. The 16 position CB Plus counterbalance system gives fine, repeatable balancing across that enormous payload range, holding heavy rigs in place at any tilt angle. The large 150mm ball base and caliper disc brakes on both pan and tilt provide the rigidity these builds demand, and a quick-release tilt lock pin protects the payload during setup.

Pan and tilt drag each offer 7+0 selectable positions, stepping from very light to heavy for anything from fast follows to slow, weighted moves. A 4.7 inch (120mm) sliding quick-release camera plate leaves ample travel to balance a fully accessorised cinema build. The head ships with two telescopic pan handles (model 696), extendable for comfortable operating positions, and a camera plate (model 1060).
