Miller 1096CX10 100mm Fluid Head

The Miller CX10 (model 1096) is a 100mm fluid head from the CompassX line, carrying camera payloads up to 26.4 lb. Like its smaller sibling it runs Miller's CB Plus counterbalance, with 15+0 selectable positions for fine balancing across the load range, and every parameter can drop to zero so a stripped-down camera rides as smoothly as a fully built one. The larger 100mm ball adds stability under the heavier loads this head is made for.

Pan and tilt drag each offer 5+0 selectable positions, giving more graded control than the CX2 for slow reveals and locked-off moves. A 60mm sliding camera plate provides the travel to balance a rigged setup, and the 100mm ball levels fast on any matching bowl or pedestal. It is a capable head for broadcast, corporate, and documentary shooters working with mid-weight cameras.
