Miller 1042AIR Fluid Head
The Miller AIR (model 1042) is a compact 75mm fluid head built for lightweight professional cameras and mirrorless rigs. Its constant fluid pan and tilt drag delivers the smooth starts and soft stops Miller is known for, holding steady across a payload range of 4.4 to 11 lb. Two selectable counterbalance positions let you neutralise the camera weight through the full tilt so the shot stays where you leave it, hands off the handle.
The AIR drops onto any 75mm ball tripod and levels with a bubble in seconds. A 60mm sliding camera plate gives room to balance both bare and accessorised setups, and the head tilts +90 degrees to -75 degrees with a full 360 degree pan. At just 3.1 lb it travels light, and the drag stays consistent from -40 to 149 degrees F, so it performs the same on a freezing shoot as it does in the heat.
