Magewell USB Capture HDMI 4K Plus (32090) Over USB 3.0, With A 3.5 Mm Mic
USB Capture HDMI 4K Plus takes an HDMI source into any computer with a USB 3.0 port and no driver install. The host sees a standard UVC video device and a UAC audio device, which is why it works with conferencing clients, browser-based streaming, and desktop encoders equally well, and why it survives the IT policy that forbids installing capture drivers on a managed laptop.
Capture runs at 3840 x 2160 up to 30 fps, or 1920 x 1080 at up to 90 fps when frame rate matters more than raster - which is the trade a gameplay or sports capture usually wants. Audio can come embedded on the HDMI signal as a 2-channel pair, or from the 3.5 mm microphone input for a commentary track recorded in sync with the picture. Windows, Linux, macOS, and Chrome OS are supported, and the USB 3.0 cable (ACC10001) is in the box. It falls back to USB 2.0 hosts at reduced throughput.
