Magewell USB Capture DVI Plus (32080)

USB Capture DVI Plus is the external answer for computer and instrument output. Its DVI-I connector plus the supplied adapters cover DVI, VGA, and HDMI, so a podium PC, an older workstation, or a piece of lab or clinical equipment can be recorded without opening any chassis or installing anything on the capturing machine. Input resolution reaches 2048 x 2160.

The host sees a standard UVC video device and UAC audio device across Windows, Linux, macOS, and Chrome OS. A 3.5 mm line in and line out handle audio that does not travel with the video - which is the normal case for VGA and DVI sources - and 2-channel embedded audio is supported when the source provides it. A USB 3.0 cable, a DVI-to-VGA connector, and a DVI-I to HDMI and component breakout are in the box, and USB 2.0 hosts work at reduced throughput.
