Pro Capture DVI 4K exists because high-resolution computer output does not always arrive on HDMI. The card accepts DVI-D 1.0 in single-link or dual-link form as well as HDMI 1.4, and captures up to 4096 x 2160 - the resolutions that medical displays, CAD workstations, simulators, and large-format signage players actually put out.

Signal timing is auto-detected, and the card handles 3D HDMI sources and timecode. It sits on a PCIe Gen2 x4 interface with on-board scaling, color-space conversion, and de-interlacing, so a 4K source can be handed to a recorder or encoder pre-sized without burning host CPU. Windows, Linux, and macOS see a standard video device. A low-profile bracket is included, and the Mini Repeater 4K HDMI is available separately for long input runs.
