Pro Capture HDMI 4K Plus is the single-channel card for sources that have moved past HD. It captures HDMI up to 4096 x 2160 with embedded audio, which covers DCI 4K and UHD cameras, 4K playback devices, and high-resolution computer output that would be cropped or scaled by an HD card.

The move to a PCIe Gen2 x4 slot is what makes the resolution usable rather than nominal: there is enough bus bandwidth to move uncompressed 4K frames into host memory without dropping. On-card scaling, color-space conversion, and de-interlacing let you hand the encoder a smaller frame when the stream does not need full 4K, without spending CPU on the resize. The card runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS as a standard video device, and a low-profile bracket is included for short chassis.
