Magewell Pro Capture Mini SDI Mini PCIe Capture Card (11130)

Pro Capture Mini SDI is the coax version of Magewell's small-form-factor card. A single BNC input accepts SD, HD, 3G, and 2K SDI up to 2048 x 1080 with embedded audio, on a Mini PCIe Gen2 x1 board sized for industrial PCs, medical carts, broadcast appliances, and other machines that do not have a full-height slot to spare.

Because the signal arrives on locking coax, this is the version that suits permanently installed equipment with cable runs measured in tens of metres. On-card scaling, color-space conversion, and de-interlacing keep the host processor free, which is the difference between a small embedded CPU coping with a live capture and falling behind it. Windows, Linux, and macOS see a standard video device.
