Pro Capture Dual SDI 4K Plus is the top of the Pro Capture range: two independent 4K SDI capture channels on one board, each able to take a single-link 12G feed, a dual-link 6G pair, or a quad-link 3G set. Capture resolution reaches 4096 x 2160 per channel, and the card still handles SD, HD, 3G, and 2K sources when the rig is mixed.

Two channels of uncompressed 4K is a serious bandwidth problem, which is why the card uses a PCIe Gen2 x8 interface. On-board scaling, color-space conversion, and de-interlacing let each channel be delivered at the size the application needs rather than always at full raster, which is often the difference between a workstation that keeps up and one that drops frames. Windows, Linux, and macOS see standard video devices.
