JBL Professional JBL Control 25-1 Two-way 5.25-inch surface-mount loudspeaker, indoor/outdoor

The Control 25-1 is the compact two-way surface-mount box that turns up in retail, restaurants, gyms and theme parks. A 135 mm woven-fibreglass woofer with a butyl rubber surround and a Weather-Edge frame gives 100 by 100 degree coverage and 110 dB continuous average. It runs at 8 ohms in through mode, or off a 70 or 100 V line via a tap switch.

The enclosure is high-impact polystyrene painted in UV-resistant paint, rated IP-44, and IP-55 when fitted with the optional MTC-25WMG-1 WeatherMax grille. The InvisiBall wall-mounting system is included - it aims the cabinet after it is on the wall, which saves a lot of guessing. JBL recommends a protective 60 Hz high-pass at 24 dB per octave.
