JBL Professional JBL Control 28-1 Two-way 8-inch surface-mount loudspeaker, indoor/outdoor

The Control 28-1 is the 8-inch member of the Control surface-mount family, for spaces that need more level and low end than the 25-1 can give. A 200 mm woven-fibreglass woofer with a Weather-Edge frame reaches 45 Hz at -10 dB and makes 112 dB continuous average, over 100 by 100 degrees.

The enclosure is glass-filled high-impact polystyrene in UV-resistant paint, rated IP-44, and IP-55 with the optional MTC-28WMG-1 WeatherMax grille. Transformer taps run to 60 W on a 70 or 100 V line, with an 8 ohm through position. The InvisiBall aiming wall mount is included. Recommended protective high-pass is 45 Hz for 8 ohm operation, higher on the larger taps. Price shown is per speaker; JBL pair-packs this model.
