JBL Professional JBL Control 31 Two-way surface-mount monitor loudspeaker, indoor/outdoor

The Control 31 is the two-way high-output monitor: a 250 mm woven-fibreglass woofer with a 52 mm voice coil and a 2414H-C compression driver with a high-temperature polymer diaphragm. Coverage is 110 by 110 degrees, it reaches 33 Hz at -10 dB, and output is 116 dB continuous, 123 dB peak.

It handles 250 W in the 8 ohm through setting, or works from a 70 or 100 V line with taps to 150 W. The enclosure is glass-filled polystyrene with an internal foamed polypropylene layer and a WeatherMax-backed steel grille, rated IP-55, exceeding Mil Spec 810 for humidity, salt spray, temperature and UV. Ten 6 mm attachment points allow suspension, and the InvisiBall wall mount is included. Recommended protective high-pass is 40 Hz at 24 dB per octave.
