JBL Control 23-1 Ultra-Compact Indoor/Outdoor Background/Foreground Speaker

The Control 23-1 is an ultra-compact Indoor/Outdoor Background/Foreground speaker, from the Control Contractor installed range. Nominal coverage is 100 degrees H x 100 degrees V. Frequency range is 70 Hz to 20 kHz. JBL rates it at 100W Continuous Program (2 hrs)50 W (200W peak), Continuous Pink Noise (2 hrs) 40 W (160W peak) Continuous Pink Noise (100 hrs). Maximum SPL at 1 m is 103 dB ave. Continuous Pink Noise (109 dB peak). Nominal impedance is 8 ohms (THRU setting).

The enclosure is High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), painted with highly-UV resistant paint on white (-WH) version for maximum UV fade resistance. The grille is Highly zinc-plated, finished in durable TGIC polyester powdercoating. MTC-23WMG-1 (&-WH) available with WeatherMax multi-layer foam and tight-weave mesh vapor barrier backing. Transformer taps are 70V: 15W, 7.5W, 3.7W, 1.8W100V: 15W, 7.5W, 3.7W Insertion Loss <0.43 dB at any tap settingThru Setting: 8 nominal. It measures 200 x 141 x 111 mm (7.9 x 5.6 x 4.4 in); 141 mm (5.6 in) deep total when mounted on InvisiBall wall-mount bracket. Net weight is 1.8 kg (4.0 lbs).
